Wishing you a very Happy New Year!
I hope this note finds you peacefully drinking a cup of tea reminiscing the gifts & silver linings of this last year and holding with tenderness the more challenged moments we've lived.

In a nutshell, 2020 for me has been Strange, Simple & Sublime.
It has been a strange year and it has also been super simple obviously with freedoms & distractions taken away as we continue to "Shelter in Place" for days, weeks & months on end.
And somehow in all of that strange & simple a deep & quiet Sublime has crept in & left me somehow left me "Nourished".  These times have inspired more thoughtful Art making as well as encouraged my team & I to find ways we can support people more directly by helping them cultivate their own inner sanctuaries, reclaim their imagination & creative superpowers & find their inner compass for more calm, clarity, sense of direction & a return to their truest nature, a simple JOY.

Our virtual Creative "Spa Vacation" / Retreats have been a luxurious reprieve for both our guests and ourselves.

And yes, there is something so mysterious that we simply can't deny;  that Creativity & Art change our Inner Worlds,
Heart, Mind, Body, Soul.

And a New Year's Blessing
by a favorite poet,  John O' Donohue
*
On the day when
The weight deadens
On your shoulders
And you stumble,
May the clay dance
To balance you.
And when your eyes
Freeze behind
The grey window
And the ghost of loss
Gets in to you,
May a flock of colours,
Indigo, red, green,
And azure blue,
Come to awaken in you
A meadow of delight.
When the canvas frays
In the currach of thought
And a stain of ocean
Blackens beneath you,
May there come across the waters
A path of yellow moonlight
To bring you safely home.
May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
May the clarity of light be yours,
May the fluency of the ocean be yours,
May the protection of the ancestors be yours.
And so may a slow
Wind work these words
Of love around you,
An invisible cloak
To mind your life.

May our intentions be aligned with mind, body & spirit. And this year may you be surrounded by friends, your Heart filled with joy & your mind as peaceful as a night forest ... filled with stars.

Hello World,

I hope this post finds you well midst these wild times.  After 5 months of Lockdown in the city I was aching for time with family and Nature so I was fortunate enough to have a friend drive me to the island of my Muse where I've spent the last 2 months Beauty Hunting, Painting & getting my bare feet on the ground as  much as possible.   As I'm preparing to head back home I wanted to be sure to treat you to some visual gems too.

And a perfect compliment some words that took my breath away while listening to a chat between Zach Bush MD & Rich Roll - thought it might inspire & uplift you too.  Whatever I can do to bring some color & light I will.

“If we are here for anything … it’s to experience Beauty & to recognize it and shout from the rooftops when we see it and to celebrate it and if you just do that in your day to day If you dig into beauty and you start making sure that everything you do is grounded back to a pursuit of Beauty.

And you’re going find a different life and you will save the American people from collapse in the process.  And you will show the world that we can build a nation that’s not about Empires and sequestration of power & wealth & resources.  We’re about great co-creation.

I think that is one of the shining lights of the American people.  Is we are a profoundly creative group because we’ve been empowered at the self-level.  If we start to mimic the communication network that we’ve found in the micro biome and we start to build societies like that that’s how we will escape this extinction event that we are headed toward.  And we can start doing it by just being a co-creative society again connecting humans to be co-creative rather then consumptive.

And the world is our oyster”
